Keeping track of your work is simple with the Matesub dashboard. Here’s a quick guide to organizing, tracking, and completing all your subtitling projects.

A Simple guide to organizing and tracking

Step 1: Access your dashboard
Log in to matesub.com. Your Dashboard is your command center, showing you an overview of every project, its status, the video length, and overall progress.

Step 2: Create a new project
Click Create Project to upload your video or audio file. Choose the languages you need and set your subtitling or dubbing preferences. While the file is processing, you can even watch in real-time as the system determines the regions (time segments) for your subtitles.

Step 3: Track project progress
Keep an eye on each project’s status from your dashboard. Matesub displays progress indicators for processes like subtitle generation and translation. Click on any project for a detailed breakdown, including how many regions have been created and how many you’ve already confirmed.

Step 4: Keep things organized
Use the filter tool to quickly find specific projects by name or creation date—this is a lifesaver when you’re managing lots of files. You can also switch your view:

  • Grid view gives you a visual layout.
  • List view offers a detailed overview.

Step 5: Collaborate with your team (for Team Plans)
if you’re on a Team plan, you can easily share projects with teammates or clients, assign roles, and track edits in real time.

Step 6: Delete projects
When a project is truly finished or no longer needed, delete it from your dashboard to keep your workspace clean.

FAQ

Can I get a project back after I delete it?
Yes, if you’ve only moved it to the Trash folder. If you permanently delete it from the Trash, it is gone for good, so be careful!
